Bat Out of Hell

Jim Steinman’s BAT OUT OF HELL - THE MUSICAL makes its world première at the iconic London Coliseum from June 2017!

Originally written as a musical, BAT OUT OF HELL went on to become one of the most iconic and successful albums of all time. 40 years later, Jim Steinman’s tale of love, rebellion and rock’n’roll finally explodes onto stage in a musical critics are calling ‘THE SHOW TO SEE IN 2017’ (Daily Telegraph, Mail on Sunday, Manchester Evening News).

With epic book, music and lyrics by Jim Steinman, and a multi award-winning creative team from the world of Theatre, Opera, Music and Film, this brand new musical plays the London Coliseum from 5 June 2017 for a strictly limited season!

What is Bat Out Of Hell about?

This stunning rock musical tells the story of the forever-young Strat and his out-of-control gang, The Lost. In a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, The Lost wander the streets under the rule of the tyrant Falco. Theirs is a bleak existence, until Strat falls for Falco’s daughter Raven, which is when love and rebellion starts to take root.

Explosive and full of belting tracks, Bat Out of Hell is a full-throttle ride towards the rock and roll dream. Featuring 17 of Meat Loaf’s greatest hits, including ‘I’d Do Anything for Love’, ‘You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth’ and, of course, ‘Bat Out of Hell’, and directed by award-winner Jay Scheib, this pulsating new musical is not to be missed.

Most amazing show, from the set acting singing dancing and the music played. By far my favourite show. Finally Steinman music and the power of meatloaf come to life. Just wish I could see him sing one song, haha. Really would love to see again. Well done everyone and thank you. X

  • Foot tappingly outstanding

    23 June 2017

It too sure in the first ten minutes but after that it just got better and better. The effects and staging were outstanding, the singers were fantastic and by the end they had the whole audience on their feet clapping along and singing and shouting for more. ONE NOT TO BE MISSED!

Meatloaf convert - and how Confirmed ticket purchaser

  • True Meatloaf treat

    23 June 2017

Cons - Story line weaker than a porno as was choreography.. Pros- If you know the music its close to the concert experience. Sing along is good as its not the real performer. Free tap water good as was Bat beer especially as bag search for liquids was Airport mentality.
